The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that as of approximately 06:56 today (3rd), the CCP had implemented a satellite launched mission on a carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The rocket flight path passed through the southern air defense identification zone of Taiwan, and headed toward the western Pacific. Its altitude was outside the atmosphere so it posed no harm to the Taiwan region. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to closely monitor the ballistic dynamics and trajectory, and other information to provide appropriate warning and response.
